Roger Coleman Delivers Closing Remarks at the Nasdaq Exchange

An honor that is not given to many, Roger Coleman gave closing remarks and rang the bell at the closing of the Nasdaq Exchange in New York City on Friday September 9th. Roger took part in a ceremony that featured families of victim’s from the September 11th attacks, Gold Star members, and members of the executive team from Tuesday’s Children.

Roger had the following to say about the organization and there mission. “Last year, we commemorated the 20th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks that took so many lives on, September 11th, and the two decades of Tuesday’s Children’s dedicated service. As we begin our third decade providing vital, trauma-informed, resilience-building programming, we remain steadfast in our mission, and to the promise made 21 years ago to Never Forget, to the families who lost loved ones, to the 3,051 children who lost a parent, and to the more than 37,000 military families who have lost a service member post-9/11. We are proud that our organization meets individuals and families wherever they are on their journey to find recovery and resilience.”

Roger added that the organization will continue to attack challenges head on going forward and will never lose sight of their purpose, to offer hope and healing for families in need of our services.

“Thank you to NASDAQ for honoring our families and supporters today by ringing the closing bell and for your longstanding partnership which signifies our collective freedom & strength!” added Coleman.

On its website, Microsoft also announced that it would integrate a compliance award into the security category of the Partner of the Award program. This addition is motivated by the burgeoning complexity of security and compliance requirements in the technology space. Another addition to the Partner of the Year Award program is the Operational Excellence Award. This honor is presented to candidates who are at the forefront of digital transformation in their sectors.

Disaster Technologies Incorporated in Rising Azure Technology Category


 A senior business administrator based in Plandome, New York, Roger Coleman owns Coleman Ventures & Coleman Group Partners in NYC. Roger Coleman also serves as president and chief strategy officer of Disaster Technologies Incorporated in Washington, DC. Under his leadership, Disaster Technologies Incorporated was a finalist for the 2022 Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards.


Each year, the Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards recognizes “outstanding successes and innovations” by Microsoft-affiliated organizations around the world. In 2022, Microsoft received over 3,900 candidate nominations from over 125 countries and global regions. Finalists and winners of the Microsoft Partner of the Year Awards gathered for the Microsoft Inspire conference in July of 2022.


Performing exceptionally well in the Rising Azure Technology category, Disaster Technologies Incorporated joined Starburst Data and Wandisco as a category finalist. The Rising Azure Technology category acknowledges outstanding use of Microsoft’s secure Azure cloud computing business platform.
