In a huge media merger, one of the many companies that Roger Coleman is involved with out of his New York office, BuzzFeed, announced recently that they will be acquiring HuffPost from Verizon Media.
As part of the plan, BuzzFeed will acquire HuffPost as part of a larger stock deal, the two websites will remain the same. Because of their appeal to different demographic readerships, BuzzFeed founder Jonah Peretti feels that they should complement each other well.
