 The owner of Coleman Ventures & Coleman Group Partners, and the chief strategy officer for Disaster Tech, Roger Coleman allocates part of his company’s profits to charities chosen alongside his NYC partners. In 2022, Roger Coleman and his colleagues at Disaster Tech received recognition at Microsoft’s partner of the year awards for the firm’s creative application of Azure, Microsoft’s primary cloud-based platform.

The partner of the year awards recognize Microsoft partners’ innovative use of the entire suite of Microsoft products. Its total number of categories expand every year, to meet changes in the private sector and technological advances. In 2022, for example, Microsoft added the compliance and operational excellence awards to celebrate companies’ use of Microsoft products to address novel cybersecurity and operational challenges, respectively.

The 2022 event offered the largest and most diverse nominee pool, with over 3,900 entrants from 126 countries. After announcing the finalists in June, the winners received their awards at Microsoft Inspire, a two-day event in July that brought together Microsoft personnel and the company’s partners.

Disaster Tech Highlights Employees’ Giving Tuesday Contributions

During the program, facilitators expose participants to the concepts of conflict resolution and peacekeeping. Participants also get involved in sporting activities, music, and drama to aid healing and to foster social skills such as teamwork, empathy, communication, and negotiation skills.

Project Common Bond comprises a summer session and a winter session. It is also a pathway to other Tuesday's Children programs, year-round, as well as reunions. These programs offer more interaction opportunities for participants as potential global leaders.

Roger Coleman Delivers Closing Remarks at the Nasdaq Exchange

An honor that is not given to many, Roger Coleman gave closing remarks and rang the bell at the closing of the Nasdaq Exchange in New York City on Friday September 9th. Roger took part in a ceremony that featured families of victim’s from the September 11th attacks, Gold Star members, and members of the executive team from Tuesday’s Children.

Roger had the following to say about the organization and there mission. “Last year, we commemorated the 20th Anniversary of the terrorist attacks that took so many lives on, September 11th, and the two decades of Tuesday’s Children’s dedicated service. As we begin our third decade providing vital, trauma-informed, resilience-building programming, we remain steadfast in our mission, and to the promise made 21 years ago to Never Forget, to the families who lost loved ones, to the 3,051 children who lost a parent, and to the more than 37,000 military families who have lost a service member post-9/11. We are proud that our organization meets individuals and families wherever they are on their journey to find recovery and resilience.”

Roger added that the organization will continue to attack challenges head on going forward and will never lose sight of their purpose, to offer hope and healing for families in need of our services.

Formed immediately after the 9/11 terror attacks, Tuesday's Children helps families who lost first responders and service members during and after the tragedy.
